Converting a 46cc Poulan Model 2750 chainsaw for model airplane use. This 2.8ci engine is almost identical in power and weight to a BME 2.7 (44cc).

As you can see, the Poulan 46cc chainsaw makes a great model airplane engine. The block practically falls right out of the saw, after removing a couple housing bolts. It's also a very lightweight engine, with power that makes it nearly equal to the BME 44cc gasser.
